Our marketing guru Derek Tenbusch talks a little about the upcoming Showdown 2015.

Every day working at Lonerider is a great day. But one day in particular is especially great. This year, that day is March 28th. That is the day of our Lonerider’s annual Showdown! Showdown is our annual festival held in downtown Raleigh at Moore Square. A full day of live bands, great food and of course beer. And plenty of it.  In addition to your usual favorites like Shotgun Betty, Peacemaker and Sweet Josie you will find a bunch of very few specialty casks, as well as many of our seasonals.

It goes without saying that the beer is a big part of what makes Showdown great. But why I really love it, is the fact that it brings together so many Outlaws in once place. It’s always great to hear from Lonerider drinkers that come from all over the state to celebrate their favorite craft beer. And to top it off, proceeds each year go to benefit one of our many charitable partners. This year that charity is nOg Run Club, who actually works to help about a dozen charities around the triangle.

Tickets are already on sale for Showdown, so make sure and pick some up.  One big change that we made this year, is that your ticket gets you full access to the entire event, including unlimited samples of all of the beer options. Pretty sure that makes this one of the best deals you’ll find!
