LoRes_MushroomSwissAllInBurger_11141

What’s better than a cold pint of your favorite craft beer? A cold pint of your favorite craft beer paired with an Applebee’s All-In  Burger and fries. And, you know what would make that even better yet? If it all costs only $10! Exciting news…we at Lonerider are very thrilled to announce our partnership with the  Applebee’s of the Triangle to be able to bring you that very deal! Yes, you read that right!  A pint of Hoppy Ki Yay or Shotgun Betty  plus an Applebee’s burger and fries for only $10.  There are several burgers to choose from so our brewers knew decided which one to get could be a big decision.  So, in Lonerider fashion, our very own brewers went to Applebee’s and tried all the burgers to help determine the best pairings. Taste varies, so we encourage you to try and try again to find your favorite match.  Look below to see our brewers suggestions

The Blazin’ Texan

  • Pairing Suggestion = Shotgun Betty
  • The smooth texture and sweet malt flavor do a great job of cutting down the heat from the Jalapenos. It makes for a flavorful and refreshing drink after a bite a burger with a bit of a kick.
  • Some restaurants may also have Josie, which makes for a ‘sweet’ pairing with this burger as well.
  • The chocolate and dark caramel flavors of this brown ale offer a sweetness to cut through the heat of the jalapenos.

Triple Bacon

  • Pairing Suggestion = Hoppy Ki Yay
  • The bright hop essence does a great job of complementing the bold, bacon flavor. This combination is very palate cleansing and makes it easy to enjoy the intense flavors coming from both the burger and the beer.

All Day Brunch Burger

  • Pairing Suggestion = Shotgun Betty
  • The banana/clove flavors from the hefewiezen complement the breakfast theme very well to make for a flavorful meal.

Mushroom Burger

  • Pairing Suggestion = Hoppy Ki Yay
  • The herbal flavors from this IPA pairs nicely with the Portobello & button mushrooms, smoky mayo on this burger. The tangy Swiss cheese offers a nice counter balance to the abundant hop flavors.
  • Some restaurants may also have Josie, which makes for a ‘sweet’ pairing with this burger as well.
  • The chocolate and dark caramel flavors of this brown ale compliment the earthy flavors of the burger for a decadent dining experience.
