Spring with Lonerider Beer: St. Baldrick’s, Brewgaloo and Beers for Beagles!

BEAGLE-2

You gotta head into town one of these spring days. Outlaws don’t always ride off into the sunset. Saddle up and get on down into Raleigh to the enjoy the festivities when the time is right.

On April 22, at the Outlaw’s Hideout, Lonerider is honoring Saint Baldrick’s Day. That’s right, Baldrick! Every Spring we host one of our favorite events at Lonerider Brewing headquarters when we help raise money for children fighting cancer. To participate, just step up and go bald, like a saint. No, we’re not pulling your leg — we’ll shave your skull clean for this cutting-edge charity right at the Hideout. Since 2000, more than 390,000 shavees — including more than 49,000 bold, bald women — have cheerfully shaved their heads at 9,000 events in the fight for childhood cancer research, and in honor of those brave little kids who have no choice about going bald during treatment.

Not ready to let those purty locks go? Drop by to have a beer! Proceeds of our fine Lonerider beers sold during the event will benefit St. Baldrick’s, too.

April 22 is a big day for us. You’ll also find us pouring in Downtown Raleigh at Brewgaloo 2017 in the afternoon and evening. It’s a great time to catch up with the local beer community and their lip-smackin’ beers while checking out local vendors and food trucks. Enjoy the craft quality that keeps North Carolina real, including local live music. (You could even get shaved for Saint Baldrick’s and then head on over to Brewgaloo 2017 with your new breezy-cool head in the evening.)

A week later, on April 30, look forward to another convivial gathering of all the best outlaws at Lonerider Brewing. Come on in for Beers for Beagles IV, to celebrate the rescue work of Triangle Beagle Rescue, a foster home program for beagles who need people. This loveable charity rescues beagles in North Carolina, teaching these dogs how to live with families and then matching them up with forever homes. The Hideout will feature special beers, human treats and even dog treats to benefit the Beagle cause. Save the date.

Check out our events page, we’ve got more events for outlaws planned throughout the spring season.
