SMaSH Cashmere IPA
Description:
This single malt & single hop SMaSH is a lightly hopped India Pale Ale showcasing our base 2row and Cashmere hops
Tasting Notes:
Appearance:
Pours a straw colored hue with minimal haze. The head is light to medium with adequate retention.
Nose:
This simplistic IPA has subtle aromas of melon and citrus and even more subtle coconut from the cashmere hops. These notes are counterbalanced by sweet malt aromas of honey.
Flavor:
The flavor follows the nose. Hops and malt balanced very well with neither overpowering the other. Hop flavor has some tartness to it with more melon notes as well.
Brewer’s Notes:
This beer should be served at 38-42 degrees. With a simple fresh beer like this, it is even more important that the draft lines are clean and the glassware is beer clean. We suggest serving this in a pint glass or Belgian tulip
Recipe Description:
2 row pale malt makes up 100% of the grist. Cashmere hops make up the entire hop bill. Most of the hops are used at the end of the boil and dry hopping, to intentionally keep the bitterness low.
